Orthorhombic YBa2Cu3O7−δ Superconductor with TiO2 Nanoparticle Addition: Crystal Structure, Electric Resistivity, and AC Susceptibility

This article reports the effect of a nanoscale addition TiO2 on structure and superconducting parameters high-temperature superconductor YBa2Cu3O7-δ (Y123). Polycrystalline compounds Y123 with different percentages TiO2, x = 0.0, 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8, 1.0, were fabricated using thermal treatment method. An analysis X-ray diffraction confirmed formation phases for all composite samples. Field-emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) revealed growth grain size decrease in porosity, sign partial melting grains samples addition. The magnetic electric transport properties investigated AC susceptibility measurement four-probe method, respectively. It was observed that transition temperature, Tc-onset, pure sample determined by ACS 4PP 95.6 K 95.4 K, These values found to while (∆Tc) improved except at 0.2 wt.%, which showed broadest width. sharpest 1.0 indicating nanoparticles is expected serve as artificial pinning centres strengthen connection among ceramic.
